Wind is caused by large scale
convection currents in the Earth’s atmosphere. This wind is driven by heat
energy from the sun and we can therefore say that it is a product of solar energy.
The energy we get from the wind is
kinetic energy and we can harness that energy by using wind turbines and
convert it into electricity.
